The HOPPECKE sun | power VR L 2-3200 is a single 2 V valve regulated lead-acid (VRLA) gel cell from the OPzV series, built with tubular plate design for cyclic solar and hybrid applications. It offers 3584 Ah at the C100/1.85 V rate (2878 Ah at C10/1.80 V) and is maintenance-free with regard to water refilling thanks to HOPPECKE's gel technology. The tubular plate construction gives very high cycle stability during Partial State of Charge (PSoC) operation with efficient charge current acceptance, while dimensions follow DIN 40742 for maximum compatibility. HOPPECKE system connectors improve short-circuit safety even during installation, and the cell can be arranged horizontally (special variant, must be specified when ordering). Typical applications include village power supplies, hybrid systems, peak shaving/voltage stabilisation, mobile communication stations, sustainable tourism, cathodic corrosion protection and pumping systems. Cells are produced under the German Quality Standard with low-antimony technology and are part of a closed-loop accredited recycling system.
