The Homaya Solar Hybrid System 850VA is a Schneider Electric inverter that powers both AC and DC loads from energy supplied either via the grid or by solar panels, which can then be stored in a battery as required. Built for homes, health centres and small businesses in areas with frequent power outages, it accepts up to 800Wp of 12V solar panels and works with a 12V battery bank of 100Ah to 200Ah (tubular or flat plate GEL/VRLA). It delivers 230V, 50Hz AC output for TVs and decoders, DVD players, fans, fridges, lamps/tubes/CFLs, plus a 12V DC output for phone chargers, radios, tablets and PCs.
