Collection and shipping

We do not ship or deliver. Every order is collected from our office in Lagos. This page explains how collection works.

1. No shipping

The Solar Shop Limited does not offer shipping, courier delivery or home delivery, within Lagos or to any other state or country. There are no delivery charges because nothing is delivered: the price you see is the price you pay, VAT included.

3. When your order is ready

  1. Place the order on the website, or through WhatsApp or our shopping assistant, and pay by bank transfer using the account details on your order.
  2. Our accounts team confirms the transfer, usually within one working day. You receive a WhatsApp message (and an email if you gave one) when the order is ready to collect.
  3. Collect within 7 days of that message. If you need longer, tell us and we will hold the goods for you.

4. What to bring

  • Your order number (for example SO-2026-0123) or the invoice.
  • A valid photo ID for the person collecting.
  • If someone else is collecting for you, send us their name and phone number on WhatsApp beforehand.

Please check the goods and packaging before leaving; we sign a collection waybill together confirming what was handed over.

5. Transport after collection

Once goods are handed over they are your responsibility. If you arrange your own vehicle or a third-party courier, it collects on your behalf and any loss or damage in transit is between you and that carrier. Batteries, panels and inverters are heavy and fragile: bring a suitable vehicle and enough hands, or ask us in advance and we will advise on packing and handling.

6. Installation

Collection is separate from installation. If you want us to install the equipment, ask for an installation quote before or at collection; site visits are free within Lagos.

7. Returns

Unopened products can be returned to the same office within 3 days of collection. See the returns and refunds policy.
