The Victron Quattro 48/15000/200-100/100 is a powerful 48 V inverter/charger delivering 15000 VA (12000 W continuous at 25 °C) of pure 230 VAC output with a 200 A battery charger built in. It has two AC inputs with an integrated transfer switch, so it can be connected to two independent AC sources — for example the public grid and a generator, or two generators — and automatically connects to the active source. The main AC output has no-break functionality, taking over supply to connected loads in under 20 milliseconds when the grid or generator fails, so computers and other electronics keep running. A second AC output is live only when AC is available on one of the inputs, ideal for loads such as a water heater that should not discharge the battery. PowerControl lets you set a current limit on each AC input so the Quattro shares limited generator or grid power with other loads, while PowerAssist boosts a weak generator or mains supply with battery power during peaks. The unit is lithium-ion battery compatible and suits off-grid, grid-connected PV and hybrid systems. Three units can be configured for three phase output, and up to 4 sets of three 15 kVA units can be paralleled for 144 kW / 180 kVA inverter power and 2400 A charging capacity. Configuration is via DIP switches, VE.Configure/VictronConnect and Assistants; monitoring and control is available on site (Digital Multi Control panel, battery monitor, Cerbo GX or other GX device, Bluetooth, USB/RS232) and remotely through the free VRM Online Portal and VRM app.
